Edited one year agoHow long Mr New York Indus Laswell let out a pure wax version by a Master of ..... (half speed, 180gr, 2 x Lp, with Epic Sleeve Gatefold collage ...., anti static inner sleeve, splattered wax, etched side, colors version mixed, anyway ......) We need a Waxed Piece of Art for this Epic Audio production .....

At risk of sounding grandiose, this album is one of the most important albums in rock history. Period! Whatever Bill Laswell may have been doing throughout his incredible career, all universes converged here. We are very close to the Big Bang as in God spoke. Never far from hand in the beginning and now 6 years into a radio announcer career I am coming back around to Praxis Transmutation. Again I AM TRYING TO FIND A QUOTE FROM THE BACK OF THE CD SLEEVE I.E. THE DJINN CURSE. If you still have the CD sleeve please share the quote here for me. I no longer have CDs as a minimalist philosophy has guided me through my middle ages. Apreciado.

"I really want this album pressed on wax, it would sound great, but I doubt it would happen :( "
My thoughts exactly!!
This is a brilliant album and deserves a vinyl release!
Personal highlights include "Seven Laws of Woo" and "Animal Behaviour" - great Bernie and Bootsy showcases respectively; but the entire album is amazing and well worth a listen if you haven't already.
The Animal Behaviour music video deserve a watch too! -

Edited 12 years agoA real funk classic, and very uner appreciated. Mixes up a lot of different styles, including some over the top buckethead cheese, but even the cheese fits here. If you like Parliament adn their related projects you will love this. Bernie Worrel and Bootsy are both here funking the album over the edge. Recommended for fans of all music!
