Notes
This sub contains the revised version where Bob Ludwig (RL) is credited in the runouts only on side A.
The first infamous "hot" "double RL" version cut at Sterling Sound which caused cheap cartridges to jump (Bob Ludwig (RL) credited in both runouts) can be found here: Led Zeppelin II
Note that Led Zeppelin II (Club) have nearly identical runouts with 'Manufactured in ' stamped.
The LW in the runouts indicates the metal-work of Longwear Plating
The pressing rings hints for a Pallas pressing.
Outside laminated gatefold sleeve - thin cardboard, so obviously not an import cover.
Spine reads: Stereo (in the green field) Led Zeppelin Atlantic SD 8236
SD 8236 is only on the front cover - rear cover don't show any cat#.
ATL-SD 8236 at the bottom of the labels
On sleeve: Ⓒ 1969 Atlantic Recording Corporation
On label: P. 1969 MFG. by Atlantic Recording Corp., 1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y.
B1 is spelled on label incorrectly as "Heartbreakers".

Just figured out this is the pressing I got for a dollar when I started thrift shopping vinyl in the early aughts. Side one slays with dynamics and side two is like why is it so muddy and quiet!??? Now I finally know why haha. RL makes all the difference.

This copy is a clear example of how great Robert Ludwig's mastering was on the original US press (RL side 1 & 2). It's quite jarring going from the incredibly clear, loud and dynamic side 1 to the very anaemic, quiet and muffled side 2. Really leaves one yearning for more
