Track 1-1 recorded live at Fairfield Hall, Croydon (4th January 1970) and at Mother's Club, Birmingham (11th January 1970).
Tracks 1-2 to 1-4 recorded at IBC Studios, London, April through May 1970.
Tracks 2-1 to 2-3.e released by arrangement with BBC Music. Recorded at the Promenade Concert at The Royal Albert Hall for BBC Radio Three on 13th August 1970 (Soft Machine - Live At The Proms 1970).
Comes in a CD sized papersleeve album replica (gatefold), with Obi-strip and two inserts of notes.
Title of track 2-3.e written as in booklet (misprint).
