Absolutely top pressing. Fantastic sound quality, rich and dynamically the best I've heard so far on vinyl compared to its origin pressing back 1996. No klicks or other annoying noises. Highly recomended.
-
Fantastic reissue and pressed nicely (had a few issues out of Optimal recently but this is pretty much flawless). Sound is great, nicely balanced, good depth and width to the sound stage. Even the bass on the longer sides does not seem to suffer.
Played on a Clearaudio Concept, Satisfy Tonearm, Hana ML Cartridge, ifi iphono2 pre into a Rogue Audio Pharaoh amp. -
Amazing reissue of this album! Dynamic are amazing, sound stage is nice, bass is also deep and has that nice punch. Nice flat vinyl. Worth every cent!

Edited 3 years agoI had the original press that was played a dozen or so times before selling back in the 2010's when the prices went through the roof. I feel that this pressing is more quiet but way more dynamic. The cover is far sturdier for sure. Could be ing the audio wrong but for sure my copy is flat, quiet, and kick a$$! Stoked to have it back in the collection!

An incredible repress with excellent mastering for the format. I have a brand new Nagaoka cart and de-static(ified)? both LPs and still got some clicks here and there, but seriously who cares. It sounds so good regardless. My Kingdom is still the crown jewel, with the best and most visceral mastering on the whole release. This is a must own for any FSOL fan, get it before it's gone.

Edited 3 years agoJust finished the listening of this issue. What can I say, I'm completely stunned, blown away.
Dead silent, amazing dynamic, large soundstage, fantastic tonal balance.
Bass to be dreamed of... Simply awesome!
This is the kind of re-issue to give me the hope for next 50 years of vinyl pleasure.
6/5stars!!!!!! -
Edited 3 years agoGood dynamics I think but I've never heard an original to compare it to. Mine has a lot of clicking and some popping so I'm pretty disappointed with that but I was able to get a replacement from the seller I bought it from and the replacement sounds better with only minor clicks and a few pops. If anyone is wondering it does include more art on the printed inner sleeves too.

Edited 4 years agoMine has a lot of clicks - loud clicks. Glue drops from sleeve on wax. Very disappointed. Sounded more flat than initial release.
