Edited one year agoOverall a good pressing and solid buy with a few caveats. Discs themselves are dead quiet, although my first LP of the album itself was pretty warped, although it does not affect play. The sound is crisp and punchy and dynamic, and Billy Joe's guitar is super crunchy. Although as some have mentioned on other pressings, the sound can be a tad thin/shrill at times and lacking a bit of low end, although this is probably just a function of Green Day being a very mid/treble heavy band. The hologram jacket is cool, although a gatefold would have been nice, as would 180g vinyl. Again, the discs sound great, but I can't a special edition anniversary reissue of another album pressed on such thin, lightweight vinyl (assuming these are 140g at most). Still, all in all, a good set worth having. -

I returned my first copy back to Amazon due to many scratches and warping on the second LP. My replacement was also warped, but not as badly as the first.
Has anyone compared the 2021 remaster with the 2009 reissue? -
Incredible pressing, sounds super bassy and larger than life and three dimensional. This might be one of the loudest mixed records I own haha I have to turn down my speaker volume for this one it’s so loud. The live tracks also sound great. I also love the rainbow holographic album artwork, this already has some of my favorite album art but to see it look so shiny just is a cherry on top. Some surface noise throughout but the music is so loud you only hear it between songs -

Very impressed with this pressing. The bass at the beginning of Armatage Shanks sounds amazing and that quality and depth of sound continues throughout. Happy to have a favorite album on wax that sounds so good.

Great pressing, the remaster is massive sounding. The whole package is impressive. No issues with the discs, GZ did well on this one.
