Side B of my copy is severely off center. The record had warp right out of the shrink as well. QA was obviously not a concern for the manufacturer. -
In a time of heightened political uncertainty in Belarus, often considered the “last dictatorship in Europe”, it has been a delight exploring the art of its citizens, such as Darya Zhuk’s film Crystal Swan and the albums of post-punk band Molchat Doma. Both hearken back to the 1980s, with the latter in particular revelling in retaining an authentic sound. There’s coldwave in here, some synth pop, and even a little disco.
