Such an amazing album - in truth it deserves a better release than this. Thankfully there aren't many quiet moments on this record because on the bits that are this is extremely noisy. One of the big deals with the original release of this album was the 14 pieces of artwork commissioned - here they're 2 inch squares on the back cover and a messy collage on a single inner sheet. For the price, these should have been in a glossy 8 page book with lyrics and credits. This is an overpriced and undercooked release. It's LOUD - not remastered for vinyl I assume. Such a shame - my favourite LTJ LP and I for one think it deserved better. Positives? All 14 tracks are on 1 LP and play fine - they didn't ruin the flow by splitting it over 2 discs (although if they had, some live tracks or B-Sides might have sweetened the deal for the price).
