bought mine second hand and it was covered in dust. after a cleaning, there are some faint pops and cracks, but nonetheless sounds pretty decent. 6.5/10

The pressing really isn’t the best, which is sad Bc this album if pressed at good quality would sound even more magical. have a lot of surface noise/popping and something just doesn’t sound right to my ear. I will say, some songs sound better then others

Bought this at Gran Canaria, brought it back to the UK and I’m surprised at the mastering for a mainstream pop record. Everything seems well balanced. The bass feels like a safety net as it bounces, and the highs and S sounds are soft. The crackling seems to be parts of tracks that have samples in, so that’s all good.

One of my all time favorite albums, but when I listened to it the first time there was a ton of surface noise on both discs. Not only that, but it skipped on two different songs (one from each disc). At times, this record sounds great, but overall I’m disappointed with it.

I received a copy of this as a gift and was super excited to give it a spin. Upon opening I find that not only do I have 2 copies of disc 2 and no disc 1 but they are both horribly warped. Additionally, there is significant surface noise, even on the ending and beginning of each side. This is the worst pressing of a new release I've ever encountered. Avoid it like the plague and hopefully a competent version is released in the future.

I bought two copies and they both had crackle noise in the right channel throughout side A (disc 1). It is most noticeable at the beginning of "Hardest to Love".

Edited 3 years agoThe music on this record is the weekend at his best making it a 4.5/5. The one warning I have is for those wanting to buy after hours; due to him trying to sound like a vinyl record their is what sounds like surface noice but this was in the digital version. Overall worth the money it cost.

Edited 4 years ago22 weeks later and i finally received this. (Black vinyl regular release 60250881840) Don’t even care to listen to it at this point. Shoulda just demanded a refund and purchased one from the community.
