From all my collection, this is one of the best sounding LPs I got. If you listen this album on Digital platforms it sounds amazing, but the dynamic on the vinyl makes it unbelievable. No high noise, less strong lows (still powerful), so the vocals and instruments has more presence. For me makes it even better to listen. Mastering 11/10. -

First half is warped - second half the sibilance is crazy on the second half, Yosemite is all kinds of messed up. -
Edited one year agoI’ve bought 2 copies of this album, 1 new and 1 used and they are both unevenly pressed. The disc has a visible wobble when played.. oddly enough doesn’t affect playback too much but it is rather unsightly. Beware.

Edited one year agoI guess I got lucky, my copy sounds immaculate. Barely any surface noise, drums are clear and punchy, bass is heavy and the vocals sound good too. Like someone else said, a gatefold would have been a nice addition, but this is still a great pressing. -

Edited one year agoPretty brutal sibilance on Drake's vocals on Sicko Mode, and even on some of the 808 hats - I kind of doubt they did a separate master for vinyl on this one. If they did, a de-esser would've gone a long way. Bit of a shame, given that previous Travis vinyl has sounded pretty great to my ears (Birds is gorgeous on wax). Still, amazing album - I'm glad I own it physically.
