Really happy with this purchase mainly for the legendary Brussels Affair which is one of the Stones best live gigs, the Goats head soup tracks really shine live especially Heartbreaker.
The outtakes Criss Cross & All the rage finally officially released and could easily slot onto album proper. Only criticism is no booklet in boxset, no issues with distortion it sounds great and Goats Head Soup is a very good album that has stood the test of time & a real bargain I paid £28 !!!

I'm not a great fan of the Abbey Road Half Speed stuff, tend to find it a bit flat and lifeless.
I picked this up because it's a crazy good deal, would have paid that just for the live album.
It's actually a lot better than I was expecting, has a much better balance to the low end than others by Abbey Road.

See my answer to Mario66, the actual re-released LP could have been printed more delicate, still "Brussels" makes this one a purchase you won't regret.
Though still not too happy with "Marcussen sound", it is great to listen to this one on vinyl, to my ears it sounds livlier than the CD and flac releases issued prior to this. To be honest: it sounds great, original recording was done very well, and S. Marcussen and Miles Showell did their jobs to full satisfaction as well. Like the El Mo Gig a bit better, but this is still one of the greatest live Stones so far... Still hope for Leeds 1971 on vinyl, that would be cool... 😎

Bought it only because Mick, no not him, but Taylor - live. Not the most quiet pressing but hey, ain't playing it at volume 3. Gimme Shelter live in Brussels cooked my sprouts. My neighbors liked it too, but my neighbors' neighbors didn't. Worth every penny, especially when AmaBezos dropped the price 30 per cent. Don't worry, he can afford it.

Too much distortion on the ends of each side on the live set , :-( petty I was so much waiting for this

Fantastic box set of a great Stones LP. Too much ear candy to go into a lot of details. Stones fans should be excited for such an expanded version of this, along with the long sought after Brussels Affair concert discs. A true treasure trove of music from one of the world’s greatest rock bands.

Does anyone know how many copies of this box set have been made?
It's listed as a limited edition but I can find this info anywhere.

Does the Goat's Head here differ from the recent 1/2 speed remastered 1971-2016 box set? Giles Martin is credited here, but on the 1971-2016 box there's no mention of Giles and Miles Showell is credited with the remaster/cutting
