I grew up listening to the digitally remastered version of this album. I always felt like the album had either too much reverb or something went off during mastering to make it sound muddier than intended. Now that I own a near mint copy of this, I can confirm this is not the case.

The original mastering had really well defined bass, high frequencies with crisp clarity and not super overwhelming mid range. The guitar texture is much richer and the best part is how clear and airy Ian’s voice sounds. It’s scary sometimes since it feels like he is singing in my listening room.

I was happy with my 2007/2015 remastered copy but sometimes you don’t know what you are missing out on unless you get a taste of the real deal.

    This is the real deal.

Never heard an orginal UK pressing to compare but this one sounds pretty amazing to my ears.

I Nothing (track B5) ENDS in a locked loop in the runout area.
My favourite pressing with tons of details, very fat bottom ends, open and alive sounding
