Bought a collection of an elderly gentleman in his mid 70s and had a lot of sealed vinyl.
Iron Maiden Killers was one of them and it looks like this is the pressing that is sealed after I inspected it. Just wondering how much this LP would be worth sealed in the market?

R.I.P. Paul Di’Anno. Killers is one of the BEST metal records ever. Thank you. 🙏

Best Maiden is Paul Maiden, which is fact, Slayer were a cover band of those first 2 albums, and innumerable other early thrash/speed metal bands were inspired by this and the previous record. Too bad Paul kinda faded into obscurity despite continuing his career.

          Killers - 4XT-121421 1981 cassette.
I have this and always the 1st editions sound the best. I only buy 1st editions and presses. Re-issues usually disappoint!

Iron Maiden's second album "Killers" was released April 14th 1980! A seminal album that spawned from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal explosion. A highly regarded piece in the hardcore Maiden fans collection. This album smacks the listener with raw razor edged riffs provided by the master of the Stratocaster Dave Murray, and the technical talents of Adrian Smith debuts for Iron Maiden on this album, replacing Dennis Stratton who left the band due to two contributing factors, the alleged confrontations with the bands manager (Rod Smallwood) and the greatest excuse in Rock 'N' Roll history "Musical Difference". This was possibly the greatest thing to happen to the band as it reunited Dave and Adrian who formed their first band "Urchin" together before finding themselves able to re-create their chemistry in Maiden together to become the greatest twin guitar duo to dominate the Heavy Metal scene! And with that their was Clive Burr (Drums) & Steve Harris (Bass) providing the "Beat Machine" to cement together the Iron Maiden sweet din, And last but not least providing the lyrical journey was Paul Di'Anno the studded leather clad frontman who delivers his words in a guttural attack!
All but two of the songs on Killers, were written prior to the release of the debut album "Iron Maiden" A little bit of tinkering here and there, mainly by Adrian Smith re-recording guitar parts. Killers contains two instrumentals "The Ides of March" introduces the album & "Genghis Khan" rolls out midway through the tracklist. Wrathchild tells the story about a youth's undying search of his father, then followed by the Edgar Allan Poe inspired "Murders In The Rue Morgue" Also following are "Another Life", "Killers", "Purgatory", and "Drifter". All in all a fantastic follow up album that still stands the test of time some 30 years later!
