Ahh yesss an original copy! Been wanting a good quality one for quite a while and so glad the stars aligned today 😍 I've got a later re issue that sounds so dull and faded compared to this beautifully punchy and crystal clear OG copy. 😍😍😍

Edited one year agoWould like a better copy mines abit to scratched up to appreciate. Tho it’s evident it has been mastered slightly quieter than id consider normal. Nothing that doesn’t detract from the overall experience tho.

Edited 6 years agoThe second U2 album to be produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois. Side 1 is incredible, and features three of my favourite U2 songs (Where The Streets Have No Name, I Still Haven't Found What I Am Looking For, and With Or Without You) and they integrate so well together, closing off with a more introspective Running To Stand Still. Side 2 is more reflective, and more moody. I've spent years searching for an acceptable original pressing LP of this album, and it is absolutely worth it. Although recorded at a fairly low level, this sounds better than the remastered version which although cleaner and more dynamic loses the subtleties of the original mix. Again, the LP sounds so much better than the CD.
