the sibilants really are distracting, unfortunately. The rest of the sound is spectacular, which makes the sibilant issue a real shame. I found this issue so bad that I did not finish the record on this turntable and did not revisit it until I upgraded tables.

Wow this sounds absolutely incredible!!!!! I have had a Japanese copy for a long time and thought that sounded great. This smashes it to pieces. 3D sound, bass, soundstage, everything!!! Re siblance, it's baked into the recording. The Japanese copy is a lot worse. It improves with a better cartridge!

Absolutely stunning record and mastering! Super silent, detailed, just blows me away.

Amazing sounding, but like a lot of people say it’s too much sibilance.

Overall, a good pressing, not extraordinary, though.

I A/B'ed with my NM original. Improvements: much more detail and much more pronounced bass. I did not know that S&G albums can have bass! Shortcomings: just like other people have mentioned, the sibilance is just way too much. I listened the record on my Rega P3 turntable with Rega IO amp and KEF LS50 Meta speakers which is not that bad, but my friend has B&W 607 S2, and the shrill is just unlistenable to my ears.

A bit of a disappointment here because Kurt Wunderlich is hands down my favorite mastering engineer for MOFI. He could have dialed back the sibilance a little. I do not care what is on the master tape.....not like MOFI has never used equalizing, right?

This is a bit of a missed opportunity to produce a definitive version of this record. Still, it is a keep, for now..

BSV - best sounding version. The lazy bastard in me also likes that it's not spread out over two LPs.
