This album was recorded at home. The microphones were plugged directly into the back of a Studer 16 track tape machine, bying the recording console.
Some copies came with a bonus 7" 33RPM one-sided single of "Coming Up (Live at Glasgow)" with catalog number AE7 1204: Coming Up (Live At Glasgow) (indicated by hype sticker)

As strange and inconsistent this album is it is still full of some great songs.
Also all the clipping you hear on the vocals is part of the recording, my copy is NM and even my CD distorts on parts, Paul really went DIY on this one along with McCartny I -
Edited 3 years agoMy McCartney II LP has a runout groove code that doesn't seem to match any on here for Columbia 1980 US- P AL-36511-1D for Side 1 and P BL-36511-1F for Side 2. There is a "T" on both sides. Need help matching this one up on here, bought in 1991. I think there was some switching around of the bonus 7" with the original owner as when I picked this up it did not contain the one sided "Coming Up Live" bonus, but the full picture sleeve 45 for "Coming Up/b/w Coming Up Live/Lunch Box/Odd Sox" 7"
