card? huh!
The Sound Of Vinyl do their worse to get more information about you, so they could stick their adverts on your this-or-that-network's profile. The email registration doesn't work and neither the Ask-for- link... Eventually I ripped my vinyl to have this on a digital format...
Pretty poor service by The Sound Of Vinyl, for the over-priced cost of this record. We - the clients who still BUY music, deserve better than this. -
Edited 7 years agoI don’t think youth vocal has been re-recorded. what I do find funny is the front cover. They’ve mirrored the original pic and photo-shopped Daves moustache out
-
Youth has been re recorded is obvious. but SHWG I am not so sure.I would say it is the original vocal session.would have been nice to have the original vocal which sounds slightly out of tune and that is what makes it so charming.
-
I am listening to Say Hello Wave Goodbye (Dave Ball Lateral Mix) it sounds really nice and smooth BUT the absense of Say Hello Wave Goodbye (Instrumental) is unforgivable.that 7" is a masterpiece.

Picked this up today from Rubber Soul Records in Hanley, Stoke on Trent. Mine has the board which is a real bonus as my Linn LP12 only plays 33rpm!
-
Apart from the great sound and remixes, it looks really good. Doesn't seem transparent vinyl but transparent glass.

No dl card w/ mine. Just gonna have to record myself. SHWG is one of my favorite songs. I'll it I was skeptical seeing a $20 price for 2 songs but great mixes and nice press.
