Anyone willing to sell a Mint copy of the sleeve? My media is fine, but the sleeve is messed up.
Please if you are willing. -
Bought this during the RSD in Amsterdam. What a disappointment. Bad live registration. I got rid of it and bought this one: 19075866371, which is a far better live registration of this amazing band

Decent pressing. Honestly a release more only for Rage fans. The six tracks are nice and do have a good live quality but the audio could be recorded or mastered much much better. as previously stated, it sounds like a bootleg. If you're looking for a live Rage experience then Live at the Grand Olympic is a much better choice. This feels more like a nice compliment or smaller puzzle piece to grab if one looks to achieve a substantial Rage collection.

This is a fascinating and perplexing release for many of the reasons stated here. Upon first listen and a comparative listen to 'Grand Olympic', I do think it's possible some of the audio from 'Grand Olympic' may have been used to supplement the less than desirable sound quality of the audio that was recorded at their 'Convention 2000' appearance. Not altogether different from Kiss 'Alive' not actually all being recorded in Detroit at Cobo Hall. The difference being this record is specifically billed as being a document of their performance at 'Convention 2000'. As stated here by others previously in a variety of ways the audio is less than ideal. I wouldn't say it's as bad as cell phone quality, but that appraisal isn't completely off base, and you can hear voices in the crowd clearly, as in an audience recording. It certainly has a bootleg quality to it, but I've heard some pretty horrible Zeppelin bootlegs, so I'm not that upset about it. Having watched lots of this 'Convention 2000' footage previously online, and watching the DVD 'Grand Olympic' extras, I knew the sound quality of 'Convention 2000' recordings was not that great, and I was curious who might actually have some decent quality audio from this show. I can't help but wonder if they had good audio from this show, why hadn't it become widely available previously via torrent files? I suspect the prospect of a $20-$25 price point for a Record Store Day vinyl release was the impetus to get this project started. If you want a document of this historic show on vinyl, try and find this for $20-$25 and know what you're getting into. This isn't going to sound as good as 'Grand Olympic', and neither will sound as good as the Music On Vinyl pressings of their studio albums. Paying $50 for this pressing is nonsense when you can get a 2018 pressing of 'Grand Olympic' for $20 when it has 16 tracks as opposed to 6. $50 would be better spent toward the 2003 pressings of 'Grand Olympic'. 5,000 copies of 'Convention 2000' were pressed and eventually you'll find a sensible price as I did. I love the band, but my expectations for the sound quality of this release were not that high to begin with, especially after reading the comments here. All of that said, I think they did a fairly irable job of getting the 'Convention 2000' audio to sound as good as they did....even if they cheated and used audio from another show.

The vinyl itself is of very good quality, but the recording from the live concert is horrible, seems like some amateur decided to sell his personal record.
For the same price you can get a lot more songs with a better quality.
Good record for big fans of RATM, bad investment for a casual listener.
It should have written LIVE on the front cover, not in between some text on the back of the cover. -

The audio is definitely lifted from a bootleg of some sort. If you are looking for something that highlights the technical precision of RATM, this is not what you are looking for. In exchange, you can hear the unrest of the crowd and feel how raw the performance is. As far as audio quality, the only disappointing part is the solo at the end of Sleep Now in the Fire, where Morello winds up drowned out. Otherwise, this release is a satisfying and interesting addition to the collection.

Umm, upon listening to this record I’ve discovered that this is the same audio from the “Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium” live album.. this is not the real audio from the democratic convention performance. If you watch the crowd shot videos of the democratic convention, and listen to the Grand Olympic Auditorium tracks, and compare to this release, you’ll hear it. I’m sad to say that this release is a lie.
