Incredible album. Record sounds great. I've always loved this album though, how the entire thing is a story from start to finish yet the singles (could well be in, blinded by the lights, fit but you know it etc) are not out of place. I always keep going back to this album.

I don't actually think it's a defect, while watching it and Listening I believe that it's actually just where the snare hit is on the song and it lines up perfectly to make that weird looking mark along Blinded By the Lights.

Mine has the same pressing defect, but it also has no effect on the playback. Sounds wonderful. YMMV. Be sure to play test it, especially on that track (B1). Heavyweight vinyl, received wonderfully flat. Should always be a gatefold jacket for a 2xLP release though. -
I got that pattern on my one but it doesn't have any effect on the record as far as i could hear

This actually looks like a repress from the original stampers! Reason being on the original edition there is a strange pattern on the track “Blinded By The Lights”, and it’s also present on this copy, just not as noticeable... it doesn’t affect the sound of the track though
