Edited 4 months agoThis a solid pressing but it’s not doing anything special sonically. It’s a decent quiet flat pressing of a digital master so it lacks the dimensionality of a quality all-analog pressing.

Very good pressing but could use a little more bass (personal taste). One of my all time fave Bowie records, this one is a solid buy. Very well done on the remaster.

Really happy with this purchase. Sounds warm and crisp, great balance. One of the best sounding records I own. Mine included a gatefold lyric sheet, 1 poly lined inner sleeve, and 1 paper sleeve. I was pleasantly surprised.
-
Just compared this to my Pappy's original 1980 copy from the RCA masters. This sounds superior to my ears. Clearer and deeper.
-
Sounds pretty good. Not as mediocre as Lodger, but not as good as Hunky Dory or Low. Great dynamics overall, but falters towards the middle. Satisfied with it, and it was cheap too
-
Re-visiting now with new better equipment. It’s a bit low in the mix, but otherwise really good with clear details and depth.
