Edited 2 years agoGuess I'm one of the lucky ones, mine sounds pretty good. Some minor noise in the background of a few quieter parts here or there, but nothing major. Definitely could have been better given the asking price, but I've heard much worse modern pressings than this honestly. -
I ed MONDO about this awful pressing and they sent me replacement discs which, of course, also sucked. When I finally kept insisting this was a bad pressing the person finally acknowledged that, yes, it was. What a crime. They absolutely should repress this and do the right thing and send good copies to everyone they screwed over with this absolutely horrible pressing. Three disc sets ain’t cheap and MONDO knows better. Such a shame that this fantastic soundtrack is only available this way on vinyl.

I just received my copy from Mondo after being out of stock for a very long time. Like others have noted below, the cover artwork is great, but there were cracks and pops as a new disc that don't improve much with wet cleanings. There is a noticeable background hiss during quiet parts, as well. -

beautiful presentation/packaging but uninspiring mix and sound quality. Pressing quality isnt great with some permanent and obvious crackle despite repeated wet cleans -
Got my coloured copy last week - with the barcode of the black version - can it be that discogs uses a wrong barcode or
is it only wrong packed by Mondo ? ( They offerred me another copy, if it were black ) -
my copy is absolutely perfect, i listened this CD many years and now... wow!!! If the Disc 1 is great, the Disc 2 and 3 are amazing.
Thanks Mondo!! (but is a little expensive) -
WB/Rhino, where are you? There is no way in hell that I am giving my money to Mondo and their sh*t pressings, any longer. They've struck more than three times. Horrible, what a shame! -
I got my record (black) from Mondo yesterday and just by removing the shrink wrap that has gone from the Mint to G.
It has a lot of cracking issue, mostly from the right channel.
Awful pressing quality.
But it seems that others have the same problem.
