Edited 7 months agoThe mastering sounds flat and is there is unexceptable surface noise throughout (especially in the left channel) despite the record being clean. It's a very disappointing pressing for $80 AUD. This LP would be more useful if it was hung up on a wall, which is pretty much what 90% of the white girls buying this are going to do anyway.

Opened and found 2 LPs in THE WORST SLEEVES I HAVE EVER SEEN. The gatefold is also slightly unbalanced so Side C & D were shoved all the way down into the middle and the sleeve was bent a ton. The paper sleeves were torn on the sides so if I took them out the wrong way it would have fallen out and onto the floor. Thank GOD I have my own Mofi sleeves so they don’t have to sit in them.
Other than that the record sounds great, gave it a quick brush and there’s little surface noise, which is a miracle given the condition these came in. I would recommend but PLEASE do not leave them in these sleeves, get your own. -
Edited one year agoprobably the best tyler vinyl i own solely because of the good sound quality. unfortunately like all his other pressings there's no tracklist and terrible inner sleeves. i still would recommend this pressing though, if you can get past the slight negatives, there's really no problem with it. -
Sounds good, but not perfect. There is some noise, but thats okay, not too bad. Sleeve quality is amazing too. -
One thing I love most about Tyler and his vinyl releases is that the quality is consistent! Flower Boy is no different. Glad to have it in my collection. -
