I don't understand the negative opinions about this album. The A side is immaculate, banger after banger. The B side is just a tiny bit more inconsistent, but there isn't a song on the album I dislike. The inner sleeve is quite nice, the clear vinyl is BEAUTIFUL, and is complemented by the great design of the sticker itself. One of the prettiest albums I own.

I am currently listening to the vinyl as a play-test.... I have literally zero surface noise. Maybe I am just lucky. Just felt that bass is a little bit too much...?
-
Nice presentation and plays well but I can't listen to it as it's shite... as a fan since 85 I think his last great album was viva hate. My opinion of course .....Still love ye morrissey
-
Nice records, but low quality vinyl pressing, sounds dull and compressed. It needs a remaster, better on BLACK virgin vinyl, not clear vinyl bleah...

Artistically hugely satisfying. Far better than most reviewers will care to it. What a great voice Moz still has and also whilst coping with cancer. I have the clear pressing and it is quite noisy. Not cleaned it yet, though.

Edited 7 years agoPaulflo .."very quiet with pops and surface noise" doesn't mean anything..if it's very quiet , like you say, there should not be any pops or surface noise...anyway my copy is noisy as hell, god i'm tired of these lousy pressings, it's a shame because it's a good album

The best one since the "Quarry". Sings what a lot of people think but affraid to say. The last Great Poet in music Business. The clear vinyl is a quiet one with a good sound and some pops in the last song on each Side. Go and get one........
