An amazing album that just keeps getting better. "Harmonix" has that one rising and falling synth sound that touches the place in which the mind is connected to the soul. The main riff of "The Closed Eye View" does the same thing. I also must mention here that B-Zet's remix of Dissidenten's "Jungle Book part II" is perhaps the greatest piece of trance music ever created. †

Stevie B-Zet is a genius! this album is simply beautiful. 10/10. a wonderful ambient journey that makes you travel in a transcendent and mysterious universe.

Fabriknos is right,this is a tremendous album,an absolute cornerstone of 90's ambience.for me this is every bit as good as the global communications and other such releases from the time.would be lovely if someone did a belated vinyl release of this.

This album has an almost perfect 5/5 rating. As it should. Stevie B-Zet is one of the all time ambient heroes, the mastermind behind much of the Recycle or Die label, and this is arguably the best output from that label. In my Top 10 Ambient list, Archaic Modulation is definitely the most epic and emotional release and should be in every ambient collection.
