I enjoy this album with tea, biscuits and the loving company of my grandma. She is so happy after this. Me too. -
This is a phenomenal record. Doesn't quite reach the heights of An Empty Bliss, as far as mixing is concerned, but musically it is a gorgeous effort. Much better, in my opinion, than volume 1 (which is also excellent). It's possible that this may grow on me to become my favorite Caretaker release in time, but for now it's still a close second to AEBBTW. -
Now, i recognize elements of "An Empty Bliss Beyond This World". This second stage comes more haunting than the first one. Damn, what the hell it's "Glimpses Of Hope In Trying Times"? Looks like a song from old sci-fi movie.
