I have the original green Rephlex cover but it has no Zoid sticker (as last picture shows). I doubt it's an official goodies of this release.
About the record, it's sure the best introduction to Squarepusher music with the awesome "Hard Normal Daddy" LP. The original Jenkinson's formula is complete in those 2 records : Jazz + Funk + Drum n' Bass + IDM

For those unlucky enough to not have heard this release...

HUNT IT DOWN AT ALL COSTS.

Squarepusher Theme is easy enough to find(if you are a fan of the man, you already have Feed Me Weird Things, right? RIGHT?!). An excellent track, no doubt.

But the two others are the standout tracks from 1996. "Goodbye Renaldo" shows a subtle restraint to Tom's frenetic skittering; it culminates in one of the best climaxes in any song I think I have ever heard; "Pizza" is a crazy jazz-inflected bass&drum workout; dig the end(4 to the floor!)!

Again, if you can find it, GET IT.

Don't believe the hype, Squarepusher was signed to Rephlex because Conumber was such a big hit in the UK. Every week for about a year Squarepusher was mentioned in NME, it was months after all the press and interviews that Rephlex finally signed him.

Nevertheless, Squarepusher Plays was a classic release. For those of you who don't know the release - Theme from Goodbye Renaldo is the standout. It shows off Jenkinson's subtle introverted side, before it explodes into a huge sonic epic. The last few minutes are the best part.

Well he did a few other albums for spymania and worm interface before this one. obviously "squarepusher theme" is from FEED ME WEIRD THINGS which is on Warp. The two tracks on the B-side were never released on CD except on a Japanese import of FEED ME. Other names which he went under prior to this record: Duke of Herringay and (wow) Tom Jenkinson. The Jenkinson 12" on Worm Interface is worth seeking out. As is the Dragon Disc (which I don't have!). Man, this stuff is so much better than what he's drudging out now...

To the best of my knowledge this is squarepushers first record.
He was signed to Rephlex after being heard playing bass live in a club, hence the
              squarepusher monicker....
