Tried the A @ 33, awesome, haven’t tried 33 +8 as per guidance below but surely will; both ‘KTPA’ trax sound great @ any revs imo. Another portal into AFX’s multispeed multiverse ——- could say the same Warped bangiverse as ‘Arched Maid’, really. Mine came in a black cover &, have to say, black very much suits it.

run the place red remix is fucking AWESOME. pump up those speakers, dont be scared ;)
as for the b-side, its definitely an interesting noise composition. i dont hate it, i actually kind of like it. but thats just me. -
Edited 3 years agoThere's a breakcore track and two noise tracks that sound like a DOD Buzz Box loop. A curiosity if anything.

Edited 3 years agocan someone that knows please confirm if the B-side is in fact a data stream, not a music composition? i.e. it's not intended for listening at all & perhaps RDJ thought it would be fun & interesting to see if anyone would decode it. if so, some of the comments below could be amusing indeed..

Absolutely fantastic release and a pretty great pressing too. Shame it gets so relentlessly hated on because of the harsh-noise side b, which for harsh noise fans is in my opinion an absolute treat of unique textures and production. Only wish Richard would put out more like it.

I guess everyone here is just going to ignore the fact that AFX run the place red version is just - like - one of the hardest/splintering raggacore ditties ever written - ok...

referencing Smojphace EP (CD, EP) MEN 2 CD
The actual music on this release (Run The Place Red) is very nice indeed, however other two "tracks" are pure garbage in any musical sense. People trying to justify them somehow by saying it's great noise, are just being incredibly silly. Someone should try and "load" them onto Commodore 64 or something similar, as they sound more like some encoded signal rather than an attempt at making music. -
