George Michael – Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1

for starters, the music here is amazing. the pressing is quite nice too, with cowboys and angels sounding particularly impressive.

I am absolutely not satisfied with this white vinyl version. Do more people have complaints about this?
I may now regret not ordering black Vinyl.
I have a great turntable Micro Seiki DQ7 with a Grado Prestige 3 Gold element. Even second-hand albums from the 80s sounded better. On George's album I heard a lot of noise and enormous hissing sounds during the vocals. Such a shame.

Nothing wrong with my copy. It’s quiet, makes no noise and plays well. If I’m being picky I’d say it’s not quite as punchy as I would like in certain tracks but overall it sounds good and his voice comes through great. I take the point re bass and glad I have 2 REL subs working with the B&Ws . Played on Rega P10 with aura phono.

Plays quiet, but sound is very soft. Not better than the original lp

On the MTV Unplugged disc, "Fastlove" and "The Strangest Thing" has since been made unavailable for streaming/.

If one has seen the MTV unplugged version, you might notice the differences - I Can’t make you love me is different, Older wasn’t aired at all and the info sheet says that Everything She Wants samples “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” which is not correct. Somewhere on the CD there is info that the songs apart Fantasy (horrible and doesn’t belong on this CD in my opinion) were recorded on the unplugged sessions and rehearsals. Can someone confirm is that the correct info or were some songs recorded somewhere else? There doesn’t seem to be any info about it.

I’m still waiting for “Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 2” to be released but anyway I actually I enjoyed listening to that song “Freedom ‘90” and it was released by George Michael and 1990 was a dead year for this album and it is one of the best 100 albums I’ve have in my collection

This is overall a decent pressing. I will say, the inner-groove distortion on 'Cowboys and Angels' is less severe than I was expecting, judging it's a 7:15 long song. I actually found more IGD on Something to Save, the track right before it. Other than that, the bass is pretty good. I feel this album would sound great with a micro-linear stylus.

Hands down the best-sounding record in my collection. This is the pressing to get.
