This pressing sounds amazing! Probably the best mastered Kershenbaum mixes I've heard. Includes my favorite remixes of New Religion and Hold Back the Rain. Far superior sound and track listing to the Dutch version. -
I think this version of Rio is an extended/ remixed (by David Kerschenbaum) version of the original US pressing. It is just over 1 minute longer and has the same fade in and fade out, so I think the instrumental part towards the end is extended). I also have it on CD on the Strange Behaviour compilation and the 2-Disc 2009 UK CD version of the Rio album. -
The sex pistols meet chic. What more do you want? -
My copy has Side-A labels on both sides of the album. Anyone else run across one like this? -

A cool way to get Girls On Film without spending too much on the full LP, all else sounds like original RIO release, -
It’s beautiful with a different version of rio where there is no intro it just starts with fast drums, smooth guitar and killer bass.

Excellent Japanese pressing, VERY clean (9/10). Remixed versions plus a totally different "Disco strings" version at a faster tempo of "My own way". -
To the best of my knowledge, the version of Rio that appears on this release differs from every other version of the song that I've heard. The UK 12" single for Rio did NOT contain this version.
