Original mastering was promised here. I approve. Compared it to early european press and bootleg copy of american press — this Soyuz edition sounds a bit more bassy, the rest 99% similar. Worth mentioned that original master is much compressed and causes ear bleeding sore-mastering could not enhance what is stillborn. True benefit is print quality of booklet. Cover image has lighter exposure and sharpness which brings more details on the picture you might not depicted before. But Seagrave did crafted them and finally we can enjoy. Band photos also have a more natural color balance.

There are three records at home, this one from 2023, the original from 1991 and (I completely forgot about 2010). I like the sound of 2023- the midrange is very clear and the barrel also sounds better - it plays great on the new Dynaudio monitors. But on the old CELESTION S6 (I have a small listening room), the upper frequencies of the original sound magically - I like this Swedish sound- it gives me the creeps. Both are good, this press has its advantages, but most people will always say, "it used to be better." -

My copy does have the constant hiss on the right channel. On both sides, pretty noticable between tracks. Looks good but that is really major fuck up sadly. -
This 2012 version is louder and has DR5, The 1991 CD is D11/12. -

Took a gamble on a cheap $15 sealed copy and it has none of the audio issues!
However the universe sought to balance things out & I immediately dropped on the floor, which crushed a corner of the record jacket. -
