very much possible as the first warp CD i bought of Various – Pioneers Of The Hypnotic Groove a couple of tracks were in different order on the German vs the UK pressing it happened a lot back then swapping tracks etc.
and this CD was such a missed opportunity not only ripped pretty sloppy crackles etc but i had a few copies that had playing issues from skipping to missing the first few seconds of the tracks (tag error)
i actually bought this for Fallout –The Morning After (Sunrise Mix)
but i got a better quality pure master copy on a Various Mastercuts CD as with most older compilations the chances of a track being from a master is far more promising than the 1999 to 2000 years....... -

Now this is strange: I own the German version, according to barcode, IFPI etc., but the track order on CD 1 differs and seems to be in line with the Japanese version (Model 500 -- Rhythim Is Rhythim -- Da Posse -- Steve Poindexter as opposed to Model 500 -- Steve Poindexter -- Rhythim Is Rhythim -- Da Posse as given above).
Anyone have the same "problem"? It would be good to know if the track order of the German version also differs from the UK version and should be changed accordingly or if I just have some freak version. Also, why does the Japanese track order differ in the first place? All very interesting ... -
Shame its missing these tracks form the CD
Nitro Deluxe - Let's Get Brutal
Model 500 - Off To Battle

Edited 7 years agoHoped for nice clean sound no crackles etc as I wish to preserve my beloved original Vinyl copies (Have all trax here on vinyl) Unfortunately half the trax are taken from vinyl too on here and crackles are heard in some cases worse than my own copies.(especially Juno & Ital Rockers which where the trax I wanted clean mostly!)

Note : Most of the 80's house are vinyl recordings and not from the master tape, allthough the sound quality is good, they contains a lot of clicks but they are easy to draw out by hand in a wave editor, just a shame that it hasn't been done for this release for these great house classics.
Specially : Da Posse – It's My Life (Aluh Mix)
