Is The Chase (good-night) the same as The Chase (The Goodnight Mix)? really wish there was a straight forward naming convention across releases. -

My copy was bought at Virgin Megastore in a sealed but generic black sleeve. I guess I got hosed on that one back in the day! -
Edited 2 years agoDuel vocal edit Bitter Sweet is the one you want. Tucked away on an obscure promo. Totally agree with other review. Majestic and uplifting. 7:37 of pure escapism.

My copy has "(brucken-dorper-freytag-mertens)" as credited writers on both A and B sides. This is the only difference that I noted from the listed copy. Anyone know any more information about this release? -

On the label, the b-side is presented as "Jewel (Out Rough)" -
Edited 19 years agoI'm not a big fan of this kind of "beat"...I guess you could call it "Dance Rock"...a beat that I irrationally dislike in general, for vague ideological reasons. But in this set of productions, it really really WORKS! The majestic sonic landscape is powerful and theatrical, dramatic, dark and disturbing, in a soaring, transporting kind of way. Most of the various mixes of these 2 tracks, Duel and Jewel, will satisfy. This particular 12 inch promo is one of my favorite records.
