Has always been the title of the EP for me
love the title name and even more so the "MAYDAY MIX"...which isn't really that disimilar to the "BAD BOY BILL MIX" though the Bad Boy Bill mix is missing that key signature Derrick May flare to the mix for obvious reasons.
Bad Boy Bill's approach to
"TO BE OR NOT TO BE?" was to dub it and cut it up in various places it was nice i liked it.
But Derrick May just got in there and did a straightforward mayday mix which was the version i was more drawn to and preferred it is what it was...see what i did there😁😁 for those who are paying attention...
Can't argue against "PERPETUAL MOTION" that track speaks for itself a damn great "CLASSIC" in it's own right..."MIXED BY KEVIN SAUNDERSON

Edited 15 years agoCame across 'The Gathering' in Joey Negro's excellent mix compilation "Out Of The Box" and I'm afraid after tracking down and buying a copy of this release, it's a case of the Joey Negro re-edit actually improving the original. Unless you've bought it for the other tracks, get that instead; a better pressing across one side of a twelve inch and most likely cheaper and more readily available to find diggin' in the crates or on t'interweb.
