Well, Original Mix here Sounds much thinner, less powerful and something like strange "mono compressed". Original Release bombs it out, much more body, phatt Bassline, more direct - straight in to your Face as it should be. On the other Side i would say the Jeff Mills Mix falls into the other exreme - very noisy, overtuned HiHats, crushed potato Drums feel.

can anyone explain to me the substantial difference between the 1997 and 2010 version?

Jeff Mills remixes are very rare. This one here is awesome. The distorted kick drum, how the track builds up and that very small break (4 beats to be exact) shows how intense Mills work can be. He did it to the point. Having a classic on the a-side as well makes the record more than worth to track down.

On my copy track duration is wrong and also the A and B side are reversed. Anyone else ?

Agree with the comment below. A rather conservative DMM cut, considering it has been cut at 45 RPM and has a side to itself.

The original cranks. A shame this wasn't sent to CGB at Dubplates & Mastering or Simon at The Exchange for the pumping cut this deserves.

I have a 1997 copy and everything's fine with it. No misprints, track duration are OK, no reversed sides, b/w innersleeves with Laurent's photo. So there should be a normal release also from 1997 not just this misprint as an original release.

I've just got the vinyl from hhv.de. And NOT ONLY the track duration of The Hoe (Nuthin' mix) is wrong, but also both sides are mislabeled. Where it's written 'The Hoe (Nuthin' mix), 'Crispy Bacon' and 'The Hoe (Gigolo mix) are playing and vice versa. It should have been exactly the opposite.
