A club classic, Pure and simple.
Words words words words -
-
"and we wild through the darkness" this sentence makes no sense, maybe it could be "and we WILL through the darkness" as stated in every other release

Two classics of the genre. No debate.
Side 1 badly non filled.
Side 2 WAY off centre.
Crap quality but the 45rpm sound is excellent! -

While the Phats & Smalls mix is perfunctory and fine, it's the Minister's Vocal Mix that really hits hard here. Its hands-in-the-air gospel garage sound was horribly unfashionable in the year 2000's clubs, which were filled with circuit party drumrolls, epic trance, and tribal tech house, so this really flew under the radar, but the Frankie Knuckles-style piano garage with the addition of gospel choir background singers (!!!) makes for a great remix of a classic. If you're collecting proper soulful house, or looking for a fairly unknown secret weapon of a closing song, this is worth picking up. -

Two seminal house tracks on this 12", that have stood the test of time & stir up a lot of happy memories. -
Uninspired remix of one of the most inspired songs of all times. This feels a bit like a violation to me.

Somewhat embarrassed to own this version, The "A" side is a f******* abomination of a stone-cold classic and should be relegated to "D-side" on a crap CD mix compilation on the far side of Enceladus .
The "B" side is, well, you'd have to be dead to not feel the shivers rising and the eyes-closed forgetaboutitjustdanceletsgoweareone unifying nature of the track. -
Edited 8 years agoThe track titled Radio mix is from memory the freestyle mix as someone may have already pointed out, which is actually the opposite of your typical radio type mix, its a really nice dub version that gets over looked but holds its own.
