Not a gatefold sleeve, but otherwise this is my go-to copy. -

You know there’s a separate listing for the repress. Sellers need to move their new sealed items to that listing. And as far as the 2008 goes, mine sounds fantastic, no surface noise, unlike the represses being reviewed here. So try to find an original 2008! -

After reading the reviews for this pressing I was very hesitant to purchase it, but decided to bite the bullet and see if I could get a good copy. I’m pleased to say the record I got was complete dead quiet with little to no crackle, and absolutely stunning dynamics. I guess I’m in the minority with this but I wanted to leave a comment to say that good copies of this pressing DO exist, and they sound gorgeous. -

Great repress in my opinion - good depth, no pops or clicks and silent -
Even though the first copy I got had a bit of surface noise, minor warping and some annoying distortion in the first few seconds of every song, this pressing is mastered beautifully, sounds great.
I got a replacement copy that’s much quieter but I still notice the distortion in the beginnings of a few songs but is much better. Disc 2 has a fat warp but it doesn’t affect playback.
Still very happy with this pressing, the pink is beautiful and it’s mastered so well!! -

Edited 5 months agoThis is definitely the higher-quality pressing of this album. I have the VMP copy as well, and this outdoes it easily.
I think the pink fits the album’s vibe better, and the labels are easier to read FWIW. Get it while you can! -
My copy is clean and is easily the best sounding Beach House pressing that I have.

Mastering is really good on this one, my discs have some noticeable surface noise but it’s not really noticeable as this is significantly higher volume than my other beach house records and drowns out most of the surface noise. Packaging is lovely too. -
Sounds great 8.5/10. My copy is a misprint as both LP's are labeled A/B.
