Great sounding record. Edges are like razors though so don’t cut yourself. Very clean and silent pressing indeed. Why can’t all records sounds this good? -

Clean pressing. Dont be fooled by the “Archives Greatest Hits” nonsense, its”… Archived vol 1” re-issue on thankfully not wafer thin vinyl. Hopefully they get around to doing the same for Environments before too long. -

Amazing. None of the Archives releases are available on vinyl except for this best of from the first three. Lizzard Crawl, Brujo... heck, it's all compelling, intricate, complex work. Long Shadows, too, which starts as a delicate guitar piece and descends into a swirling psychedelic maelstrom of voices, piano, and percussion, is well worth it. While Space Squids is an annoying anomaly--a repetitive dance track that interrupts the flow and sounds like a pre-Accelerator experiment--the rest is pretty much great. And the sound is incredible, of course. -

A must-have for FSOL fans. Tracks like "Distant Neblus" (atypic regarding FSOL other titles),"Lizard Crawl", "Woodland" are awesome. "Hallucination","Mouth Muse" and "Pale Moon" reminds me Dead Cities dark ambiance.
