Seems to have Sold Out at Distribution as of October 2024.

Note the Abbey Road detail under the Fairy Logo.

This is the pure Abbey Road Master by engineer Sean Mcgee, Steve Giles and Ron Johnson. Free of the glitches that affected some of the vinyl edition.

Any audio comparisons between this and other versions to post ?

In theory this, the Saturn's Eye cassette, or the 8 Track edition should have the best ever audio for Dark. ("in theory" and "should"...)

Someone paid £950 for this, why? I bought this in 1990 because I never could have afforded an original. Now I couldn't afford this!

Just got a copy of this. The vinyl was kinda scuffed on arrival with some marks, but once I had cleaned it and put it on my turntable I was pleasantly surprised. The surface noise/crackle was quite minimal and I only noticed two pops on side two. Sound was great too, and I loved the extras it came with. Well worth tracking down!

The long-awaited ultimate reissue of a true masterpiece... made with care and love. A bit like a dream coming true. Unfortunately it seems there were some issues at the factory regarding the pressing. My copy (bought new - and a previous one had already been returned) and two volumes of the Catalogue Raisonne have scratches and marks (even unwashable fingerprints), altering the listening experience. A pity that the manufacturing ruined a part of this beautiful project. Beyond this, artistically, my gratitude to Steve Giles and his fellows.

As others have said, this is a great pressing (which isn't surprising considering LITA's involvement). Great sound with very little in the way of digital artifacts (unlike MP's reissue of Mirkwood), very nice heavy packaging, the obi sleeve and info booklet are a nice touch as well. I've heard the new Seelie Court reissues are nice as well, but not easy to find stateside - this is a great substitute in my opinion!

Sounds way better than the boot I have, the vocals are far less harsh. Excellent and complete package.
