it's a good pressing. sounds as good as I need it to! yeah the bonus tracks are unnecessary but they are at the end of each side so if you care that much just skip 'em. cheap and sounds good, worth a buy in my opinion.
-
It actually sounds cleaner that the original, like whatever mastering or cutting engineer the mafia used corrected it to sound like a normal record
A lot of the mid-range scuzz/background rhythm guitar fuzz is not there, so it's kind of a poppier mix. -
-
One variation to note: I’ve seen a copy with the number “21” stamped in the runout groove to side 1 (instead of “22”). Everything else identical to matrix info provided above (which mistakenly mis-reads the “side1” and “side2” etchings in the runout groove).
-
Sounds just as disgusting as you could hope for. If you're an insufferable schmuck like me who needs everything to be analog cut but don't have a ton of money, then look no further! Crank it up and get lost in the slime. Great record for suckin on a ding dong.
-
Actually sounds very decent, don't have an original to compare it with but am impressed. A bit more surface noise probably than an original, but it's not overwhelming.

referencing White Light/White Heat (LP, Album, Reissue, Special Edition, Clear Purple, 140 gr) 990045
it sounds ok, there isn't really much to say besides the cool clear purple vinyl. also, as the comment below said, weird that a russian label that issues bootlegs would be able to press this legitimately. very unlikely, no? -
There's a 1998 edition by the same mastering engineer that isn't 180g. No comments there on the quality of the mastering but that 1998 one sounded pretty good (I only listened through phones in a shop).
-
I had a listen to this in a shop and it sounded fine but almost the same mastering for a 180g 2000 issue here gets a bad rap. Anyone have this one?
