        Hello,

A track of "Residue", "Walter Westinghouse", is missing here. It can be found on "Fingerprince".

The tracks 14-17 come from the album "Subterranean Modern" with songs of Tuxedomoon, MX-80 Sound and Chrome.
And the "true" title of track 14, "In San Francisco", is "I Left My Heart In San Francisco".

(In French, the word "Duex" does not exist. The true word is "Deux". So, the French would not say: "Residue Duex")

This reissue does not have the 1982 version of Jailhouse Rock but has the 1986 single version that was on the CD Residue Deux. So far the original pressing of Residue is the only release that ever had the 1982 recording of Jailhouse Rock which has a high pitched lead vocal.

Residue is a album of miscellaneous Residents tunes, consisting of "favorite rarities, private tapes, experiments that were never completed, and songs that were left off of LPs due to lack of space". The choices were primarily dictated by The Residents, although some input was received from the both the Cryptic Corporation and the staff of Ralph Records.
The record contains six previously unreleased songs (The Sleeper, Boy in Love, Anvil Forest, Jailhouse Rock, Saint Nix, and Open Up), as well as Kamakazy Lady from Baby Sex, and Whoopy Snorp from Blorp Esette. The front cover features a drawning of The Residents, artfully created by Pore-Know Graphics.
