Some copies of this white cassette tape are not engraved with "made in the USA", however, I'm not seeing those listed on Discogs.

Absolutely fabulous sounding release. The level of detail is amazing, the noise floor incredibly low, the harmonic richness to die for. Spectacularly thin vinyl by today's standards :).

I much prefer this master over the 2009 remastered CD and the 2020 remastered vinyl. Much more open in the high end. The other two sounded like the speakers are covered with a pillow with minimal treble.

This remaster sounds like somebody put a pillow over the speakers. Louder but largely muffled with minimal treble. I also had the 2020 vinyl release heavyweight translucent yellow vinyl LP which sounded the same and I subsequently returned. The original CD release was way better though lower in output and less bass extension.

Absolutely astounding pressing of a perfect pop record.

This is the album that has sent me on a 40 year DJ and Electronic Producer quest that's still ll ongoing.

This and Trans Europe Express helped to create early Hip Hop and Detroit Techno.

This release is profoundly special to my heart. The sleeve is beautiful the enclosed booklet is a treat.

Stone cold classic, has inspired millions of Artist.

Dopplereffekt, Drexciya, I-F or Miss Kittin, all great producer. But this is the best Electro Album of all time. And this 10 years before in 1981, fantastic!!!!

Was the Color Sticker on the Cover or on the shrink???

Do the subwoofers of this edition sound good compared to the 81 edition?

Strangely poor printing on this klingklang sonopress '86 CD re-issue. Makes it look like a copy, but the cd matrix confirms validity.

Huge fan of this album, the GERMAN version..have 2 1st German LP pressings that sound incredible, great cut and mastering. Has a wider stereo image than the 2015 repressing from the Digital Master, although the latter also sounds very good and is very quiet. I also have a German CD repress from the 1990s which sounds very muffled, I guess the ADC/DAC converters were not as good back then. I just got the USA cassette 1st run and it sounds VERY GOOD, although it runs way faster than the LP and I prefer the German version (Pocket Calculator is never the same or as good as Tashenrechner) but it seems you have to pay an arm and a leg to get a decent cassette copy of it…
Bottom line is, get an early German pressing if you can…now, if they release a 96/24 version of it, even from the Digital Master, I would definitely get it…
