What a powerful album
To my ears it’s Sound pretty good. If it’s a bootleg how the hell do they manage to make them sound so good? -

I love Neil's never ending onslaught of new/archival record releases, but I really wish he'd repress this. It's one of his best and getting a copy is extremely prohibitive. -

Sounds amazing, and a great step to the left for NY with Lanois. Dark and beautiful songs, but it's all about the production on this one for me. -

I took it off the shelf after 12 years and played it on an upgraded sound system. It’s a wild beast of a record: deep bass, larger than life guitar sound, it sounds as if a mothership is flying over my house. -
Pick this up in a London Record fair. The first track on the back of the album is listed as "Valk with Me" and Not "Walk with Me." Surprisingly, it does not sound that bad, if you listen you can tell it is not mixed properly, but a "bragging rights" copy. -

I think that this album shows so much potential and I'm sure that Neil wanted the result that he got but I can't help thinking that some of the songs would be so much better with a band backing and a female vocalist to help Neil with the high notes . -

Spinning an original LP now. Man...this sounds fantastic. Super wide soundstage and deep bass. Flipping sides, I see CB in the deadwax and now it all makes sense. -
