"Pure" is a timeless track straight from the LA underground, and still sounds just as fresh as it did in 95; beautiful. -

I've heard the pressing on this is better than the Bassex release? Can anyone compare / confirm? -

1994-1995 wouldn't have been the same in Tampa without this track. -

Don't understand the reviews below. That sort of trance is the stuff of my melancholy...however the beats on Go Off!...now that's what I call mu'sick. -

I have long outgrown trance, but for some reason, I still listen to this song. I was in college in Austin in the mid 90's, and this was played regularly. When I moved to Tokyo I heard basically nothing out of the US unless it was NY House and for some stupid reason I wound up at a place that played NY House (pretty much gay clubs only... not really my thing). Anyway, I somehow managed to pull a copy off the interweb ages ago and I play it all the time. Brings back excellent memories, and even now, somehow can fit into techno of other genres. Not too loud, not too quiet. The title says it all. "Pure". Now to buy some decks and get the vinyl. -

The track "Pure" by Jason Blakemore AKA Dj Trance is a by far the most timeless piece of music in the LA Rave scene. It still gets people feeling good. Although I have changed music taste, this track remians on my All Time Favorites List.... -

This record is a masterpiece of Acid House in its "PURE"est form. The nostalgia that this track brings to most Los Angeles area dancers, and partiers from the mid to late 90's is enough to envoke tears. A must have straight form the Los Angeles Underground. Go Off is a breakbeat staple out of the west coast, molding the sound of the west coast funkiness to come... -

Don't name it, just feel it. This record, is indeed "Pure" bliss. I imagine it informs the mdma experience. I have strong associations of friendship and dancing with this track. However, one thing that has recently bothered me about "Pure" was that I notice a strange buzz in the bassline throughout the track as if there was a short circuit or loose cable during production. It's relatively ignorable, though, in the proper atmosphere, which is at a party, but quite noticeable in headphones. Regardless, a top US rave tune. -

The one record that should be in EVERY mid '90s ravers collection. "Pure" is exactly that. PURE BLISS. The INFAMOUS feelgood track with PHAT bass line and the girl in the background with the "ahhh ah ahhh" voice. This is one of those tracks that got people into trance in the early days. "Pure" is an 11 on a scale of 1-10, a without a doubt...a MUST OWN. "Go Off" is more of an average piece of break-beat work.
