Very innovative sounds for 1993. I wouldn't say this is techno or Dub. Its just a quality release that would be great to play in its entirety if someone could make the time to do that. There are a few special tracks on this release. -

Ambient Dub Techno at its best! IMHO Bandulu´s most versatile and balanced album, mixing Detroit influences with a touch of UK IDM. I love their tooly stuff on Foundation Sound Works as well, but this has more soul. Have to disagree with Numanoid on the bass drums here, I think they are perfectly right in place. Highlights: bass line and cymbals on 'Pacekeeper', the bass line on 'Messenger', the heavenly 'Revelation', and of course Carl Craig's rmx of 'Better Nation'. If I were to pick the next Re-Issue on Sushitech: Yossi, here it is! -
Edited 3 years agoWhy I don't rate this album, too much four to the floor pumping bass drum. This could have been an interesting early IDM album otherwise.

Classic album. We have been listening to this from old tapes, great to have it on vinyl now. -
Forgotten classic Revelation is a dark rave masterpiece their Graffiti artwork was great as Well (they were a Graf crew in the 1980s) -

The mix of "Better Nation" is the real gem here, and a perfect compliment to Carl Craig's work of the same time (Bug in the Bassbin). -
