The Fizzy Orange mix is laced with something, when that piano break and the vocals come in I could be stone cold sober and start rushing my tits off, bloody excellent tune.

Oh and when the strings come in towards the end of Let’s Get Down I honestly could cry.

Anyone else noticed the Coronation Street comments on the sleeve of the 7 inch UK release?

You can tell DJ Hype had a helping in the studio with this release and there is something about the drums in the Pure Orange Mix that is most definitely his work. Otherwise, the tunes are very similar to Different Strokes in vibe but to be honest Isotonik did the happy sound better than most and the production was always on point.

That 'Nowhere To Run' vocal is definitely re sung and not the original by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas! The only real question is who is it by?

I love this EP so much! This is probably down the fact that "Everywhere I Go (Fizzy Orange Mix)" is one of the first balls to the wall happy tunes I ever heard. It completely blew my mind because I had only previously been exposed to lesser tunes that helped create what this was such as Maurice "This is Acid" and I was a BIG fan of Public Enemy. So to hear these crazy synths, breakbeats, and those Chuck D samples really knocked my socks off! Eventually when I would get the original EP I was treated to "Rush". This is a really great tune with interesting phasing effects of the breakbeats and wonderful happy synth sounds that had a touch of darkness to them without bringing down the happy vibes. "Lets Get Down" is an ok track but it sounds more like a DJ Red Alert & Mike Slammer B side track then Isotonik. The only track here I don't bother with is "Everywhere I Go (Pure Orange Mix)". I can never find a reason to play or use this in any mixes because It's not the Fizzy Orange version. I'm actually starting to ware my copy out, I've used it far too much.

Let's Get Down is for me one of the best oldskool piano anthems ever written and oozes hands in the air, good time vibes. Rush, however, is one of the weakest - Stef's vocal ability is spot on but whoever matched her up with those synths (okay, so we know who it is...) has something lacking in musical ability is all i'll say!
