I confirm this item has been reissued before 2004, I'd say around 2001-2003.

Love this pressing. I realise that some of the Scorpios rightly get criticized, but this one is top notch. (Rega P8, Ania MC, Parasound P6/A23+)

Not an audiophile wonder - never was - but Strut know their stuff: from the original master tapes, cut at The Carvery, pressed at Pallas.

Btw: I bought it from Strut's website, they still have copies available and shipping is cheap, fast and the mailer is sturdy.

The pressings with deep grooves are pressed in Miami. You will see a few Alston titles like this. From what I understand they were pressed behind Atlantics back so Henry Stone could sell them direct locally.

Track for track for track, to me this is the best funk LP ever made.

This 1974 pressing has all that lovely analog sound, thick, warm and full of low end base. I have the Play Back pressing which is slightly more detailed, but not cut as hot, with less low end. A must for all you FUNK lovers
