Iron Maiden – Killers

This one “Killers” and the “Self Titled” are the best, Paul’s vocals are so powerful and soulful at the same time! Bringing both of these back for one more spin of the world I once knew, wish I would have never parted with my copies from my teenage years (needed the money at the time and come to find out later that in the grand scheme of things money don’t mean squat) but these will send me back to when I was 16, if only for a moment.

I am a born again Christian and true believer in Jesus Christ, my sins are now forgiven through faith and repentance of sin through Lord Jesus Christ’s finished work on the cross. First of all praise GOD for Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit! Also, praise GOD for Rock N’ Roll! There will be Rock N’ Roll in Heaven and it will be even better because it will not be tainted by the devil, IMO. Rick Derringer just left this place to the Band in Heaven, he was a believer in Christ as well! Dave Mustaine and Blackie Lawless both now born again of the Spirit of GOD by way of Jesus Christ, Christians!

It was Bands like Black Sabbath, Megadeth and Iron Maiden (if “Number Of The Beast” is not a wake up call, I don’t know what is?) speaking truth that helped push me back into reading the Bible again, realizing that there is a eternal life after this one and you don’t want to spend it in a tormented hell with the devil for eternity. The society we see right now is all from the devil’s hand! There is no telling how much time we have left in this crazy world and today is the day to turn to Jesus Christ for good before it’s too late! For me this is a Iron Maiden review and a confession in front of my brothers!

This is a great sounding record, but you need to crank it a few dB if you want to bang your head to it (why else would you be listening to it), as is the case with most vintage hard rock records. The dynamics are really great.

This is the genuine original 1st Australian pressing from 1981.

So far I have to agree with the other commenters, this sounds pretty killer (pun intended). I'm not used to hearing this album with Twilight Zone so it's cool to have it included.

Amazing pressing. Sounds excellent. Get one of these old initial pressings while you still can find them in a descent condition. They are pricey and getting more expensive but man, they do worth the money.

I am very surprised reading all these comments about bad sound of the pressing. And honestly Im not agree with the most of them. I have also the first Japan press and first US Jacksonville press and both of them are an absolute masterpieces when it comes to the sound and the music itself. Is this new reissue from Parlophone as good as they are? No, definitely this pressing sounds little less dynamic and juicy. But it’s not that bad, not at all. It’s not compressed, it has clean mids and highs, bass is balanced and the channel separation is not bad.
Overall, this is a good addition to your collection if you have no resources to get an early press, which could be really pricey. Considering the price point and the quality I would say that this issue is a good buy. I have it on top of my 6 different cds, including all first pressings from Jap and US, and early vinyls and Im really happy that I have this one. It’s affordable and has a great use for every day.

It is weird, because this was Martin Birch's first album with Maiden, and he did a great job on it, but this pressing doesn't do it justice. I wonder what has gone wrong.

An absolute and complete quality at it’s finest. This press is amazing. Sounds great. IMHO - this Japanese pressing is the best amongst all that Ive heard, including first UK and US presses and repersses/remasters/etc
Not to mention that the collectible value of this item is hard to overestimate. There are not many of these left in good condition. I was lucky enough to find a full set edition with poster in a mint condition. A brilliant of my collection!!!!

Bought a collection of an elderly gentleman in his mid 70s and had a lot of sealed vinyl.
Iron Maiden Killers was one of them and it looks like this is the pressing that is sealed after I inspected it. Just wondering how much this LP would be worth sealed in the market?
