Funny to read this is a promo copy. Bought it in a regular German record store back in 1994 for 26,00 Deutsche Mark. Wunderful record in great quality. -
I have this album for sale. It's in mint - near mint condition. If anyone is interested in buying it, please me. -
Edited one month agoOrdered two copies @ Amazon . Both scratchy and dirty AF (but luckily it's not that noisy/audible).
Also: no lyrics sheet and no gatefold cover.
If you are picky or want this LP as a gift for someone, bear this in mind.
The last track (side D) is indeed useless.
Best song: "Sober". -

My copy sounds great. Nearly silent thru the run outs and in-between songs. -
It's ok. Side D to me sounded very different and more in tune to what i was expecting the rest to sound like and then i discovered this is the veraion I have. Side D appears to not be remastered... -

Found this copy for cheap that I got to compare to my 96' 2LP press. I only got through Side A, which sounded pretty flat, before putting on the 96 for immediate comparison. It was pretty obvious the 96 sounds punchier.
Not sure which variant I have but it's got the "1979" in the matrix -

this thing sounds great there seems to be a pressing defect that I've found on 3 separate copies where there is some light clicking in sober near the build up to guitar solo. The only noticeable problem with the sound. Otherwise, this thing sounds amazing. Their best album imo and shocked this one is not going for much more -

Sounds fantastic! Very dynamic, clear and lots of speration. The low end is very precise and hits hard like a Tool album should. Was a little worried based on some of the reviews below but it's well worth it if you can score a near mints cheap. -

I haven’t listened to this copy in about five years. Since then I have upped my system with a Marantz TT-15S1 turntable with the Clearaudio Ebony Virtuoso moving magnet cartridge and a vintage Sansui AU-8500 amp to maximize the Vandersteen 2Ce speakers I have.
While this pressing isn’t mind blowing, it’s far better than I it. 3.5 stars for sound
