Polydor of India Ltd.

Polydor International subsidiary, established 1969 (originally established in 1945 by Deutsche Grammophon to distribute the DGG labels).

In 1976 all Polydor had to pull out of India and transferred its infrastructure and Indian catalogue to Music India Ltd. and only kept the company name for Polydor releases.

Also operated recording studios, and since March 1970 a pressing plant in Kandivali, near Bombay.
