The Weeknd – Dawn FM

Just put this one on for the first time since it came out and holy cow did I forget how crystal clear every sound is. Like everyone else has said this is such a crisp and beautiful pressing.

Absolutely beautiful pressing, with really great sound. Almost felt like a completely different listening experience.

Incredible sound quality! The bass is heavy and the whole thing sounds clear and loud. My copy unfortunately isn't very marbled but it still looks really pretty!

As noted below, very clean and balanced sound.
Probably one of the best sounding vinyls in my collection.

Went to goodwill a couple days ago while I was having my battery tested at the O’reilly auto parts in the same shopping center in Wahiawa HI. They had a bunch of sealed target records: Avaril Levine x8, Babs Streisand x4, Mariah Carey Xmas x3. Some dude I forget x2, Taylor swift x1, and two of The Weeknd. I took this one and the Taylor Swift dor $4.97 each. Others were also $4.97 or $8.97. I would have taken the other Dawn FM to resell (going for $25 in mint condition on the marketplace) but I didn’t have enough money. Also got 4 used LPs for $.99 each (buy 3 get 1 free) that are had discs that looked NM and jackets between VG-NM. Jimmy Dorsey’s greatest hits was NM/NM still in shrink. I slipped a loose 12” of Sly Fox - Let’s Go All The way, and got their five finger discount applied to that one. Herb Alpert’s Ninth is NM in VG- jacket that is nice other than all three sides have been taped. Bouzoukee music of Greece is NM/NM. And finally Chuck Mangione in Concert - Land Of Make Believe NM in jacket conservatively graded VG but is aweful close to VG+. I paid less than $14 for all.

already a solid album and just hits so much better on vinyl. the retro-radio feel makes it perfect. the pressing itself is the best sounding in my collection with a nice grey colour. only thing i would change is the track listing and credits - it is only listed on the back sticker and is such a bitch to rip off un-damaged. overall recommend.

Amazing album and I am not even a Weeknd fan, I just bought it for my Girlfriend but to be honest it stole my heart…like she did.
No cracks, pops no distortion.
The way the album is mixed is astonishing, it’s like listening to an audiobook.

bought this used at a record store, and it had a small amount of warp, but i tihnk thats because it was used. This album is great, and the pressing looks beautiful, I love this album, and this is a great pressing of it!

Very nice sound like all weeknd albums. But on lp2 side b has a constant distortion that make it impossible to listen.

Love the special edition, bought it at a local shop in Seattle that I used to frequent. Miss that place, another world building beauty by Abel.
