ok according to http://web.archive.org/web/20061222145406/http://ezeskankin.com/ the date for this mix is march 25th 1995 so im updating the title to reflect that new info - looks like only 3-4 trackid's left on this masterpeice.. i hope someone can id these final tracks.. im really shocked that that is the original date because the tape was sent to me in the first half of 1995.. so it must have been brand new to whoever sent it to me from leeds uk.. because i swear it was still winter in canada when i got it given to me... best parcel i ever received in the mail ;)

ive recently got some new mixes by simon dk hopefully some will be from the 94,95,96 time period when the music was much more polished vs those tracks from earlier times 93,92,91 etc

hey praz they are my tastes since i received certain mixtapes in the mail back in 1995! i can hardly take credit originally they werent my tastes; like i said to someone else recently on facebook, if i hadnt been sent the 4 tape package i did get sent from someone in LEEDS UK in march/april 1995 i never would have been clued in to the pirate radio stations like FREEK FM + GIRLS FM.. or any of the deep house "Soundsystem" crews like diy, smokescreen, go tropo etc

yea i started this other tracklists group because the trackids group was too large..
with too many other types of music that i dont care to be bothered with
the house stuff was too obscured by the other stuff and they used to lock threads all the time so you couldnt respond

The track at 26:00 sounds like it might be a Fred Jorio production/mix to me - the rhythm, bassline and keyboard stabs (there are similar-ish slightly off-kilter stabs on Sextravaganza - I Wanna Take You Home Tonite) remind me of some of his other early to mid-90s work.

I haven't been able to ID it looking through his discography, but I can't find audio for some of his more obscure remixes.

whoever sent me this tape back in 1995 must have sent it to me like literally within a week or two of this being recorded. because it was still winter outside when i got the tape; or it was very early spring... march or april for sure
i had no idea what it was or who diy were until i got sent this tape; it must have been someone really in with the diy crew.. i it came from Leeds England.. whoever it was had got my name + info thru my website that i had made for tape trading online..

Seriously underrated track from 1995 since my mate Chris shared that tape to me! Only Simon DK know it, how elusive this guy has been, a brilliant dj! RIP Simon! You took that secret track with you. Maybe someone who has with Andy Compton could ask him by any chance please?
